2016, Nockies Palette “Georgetown” Pinot Noir, Central Otago
Review by Michael Cooper in March 2018:
Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
“Well worth cellaring, the youthful 2016 vintage (4.5*) is a single-vineyard red, estate-grown at the eastern end of the Kawarau Gorge. Bright ruby, it is fragrant and savoury, with good intensity of ripe plum and spice flavours, oak complexity, fresh acidity, and a long, finely structured finish. Best drinking 2021+.”
